Raw
Food
by Donna Rose Stewart
I have gone on and off raw food over and over again,
and have found that eating raw fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds and
sprouts makes me a very happy person (which it is my nature to be,
but which cooked food takes away from me to a great degree). As a
friend of mine says, "You're more you when you eat raw vegan."
I also find that it frees up a lot of energy to do the things that
I want to do, but just don't have the energy for when I eat cooked
food. I like people a lot more when I eat raw food, and nothing stresses
me out the way it does when eating cooked food. I find myself smiling
and laughing a lot, too. All in all, I like myself a whole lot more
when I eat raw! I'm having fun.... Oh! Yes - and most delightful:
I feel God's Presence all around me (as well as within) when I eat
raw!
Following
are the results recorded in my journal after only three months of
100% raw foods - most of which occurred after one month:

Fruitarian:
one who eats predominantly (ideally 100%) fruit.
Fruit:
tree fruits like pineapple, apple, and banana; berries; melons;
vine fruits like kiwi and grapes; vegetable fruits like avocado,
tomato, squash, olives, pepper and cucumber; dried fruits such as
hazelnut, cashew and chestnut; and seeds, including sprouted seeds.
(Some fruitarians do not eat dried fruits or seeds.)
The
fruitarian lives without killing any form of life. The fruitarian
participates in the propagation of new trees and new fruit by spreading
the seeds of fruits, thus living in harmony with all things.
"The
body's health must be rebuilt before the body can heal itself. And
to rebuild the body's health, we must feed the body Living organically
grown uncooked foods, Nature's way to Health." - Anne
